Dive In®: Foundations
A structured approach to diving as a somatic practice
Beneath the surface, something changes. Breath leads movement - with every inhale you rise, with every exhale you fall. Insulated from the many distractions of everyday life, your attention is naturally drawn back to the present moment. In this way, diving lends itself to somatic practice.
But diving is not always like this.
This course introduces the Dive In® Framework, a structured approach to scuba diving that prioritises physical and psychological safety while inviting greater awareness, curiosity and presence, both underwater and on land.
You'll be introduced to the foundational principles and practices of the Dive In® Framework. Through guided exercises both on land and underwater, and reflective prompts that encourage you to revisit and integrate your experiences, you'll develop foundations that you can use in every dive underwater, and in every day life on land. The course also serves as a handy reference tool that you can return to over time, learning something new each time.
The course can be accessed through the Kajabi mobile app, available on the App store, allowing you to revisit the lessons and practices whenever you need them.
Estimated time:
4–6 hours from start to finish (self-paced).
However, the course is designed to be digested gradually, as you experience the exercises within. To begin, we recommend dedicating 10 minutes a day over at least 10 weeks (the average time it takes to build a habit) to the practical exercises.
It also serves as a handy reference that you can return to over time, any time you would like to connect with the magic of the underwater world.
