Refunds & Cancellation Summary

Retreats & Wellness Experiences

• If we cancel a retreat or experience, we will refund all payments within 30 days.

• If you cancel more than 60 days before the start date, your 30% deposit will be forfeited.

• If you cancel less than 60 days before the start date, the entire payment is forfeited.

• Where refunds are applicable, they will be processed within 60 days, with any transaction fees deducted.

Online Courses

• Payments for online courses are non-refundable once access has been granted.

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Journey Underwater (Dive Into Wellness Pty Ltd). These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between us and all participants engaging in our retreats, scuba diving, online courses, and wellness services. Please take the time to read them carefully, as they outline your rights and responsibilities.

By booking with us, you agree that your invoice, together with these Terms & Conditions, form a binding contract.

1.Engagement

1.1 While our instructors and consultants may make suggestions, the responsibility lies with you to decide what to focus on and work through during your experience.

1.2 Results vary for each person. Outcomes depend on many factors, including the depth of the issues being explored, associated circumstances, and your own willingness to engage with the process.

1.3 If at any point we believe your situation would benefit from more specialised support, we will provide a recommendation and referral to appropriate services.

1.4 Your payment entitles you to receive the services as described in your booking confirmation.

1.5 We may make changes to itineraries, activities, or schedules where necessary for safety, operational, or environmental reasons. In such cases

1.5.1 We shall have no liability to you for such changes, and

1.5.2 You shall make no claim against us, except as provided under our cancellation and refund terms.

2.Participant Responsibilities

2.1 You agree to arrive on time for scheduled activities and to participate to the best of your ability.

2.2 You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our instructors and consultants, particularly in relation to scuba diving and water-based activities.

2.3 You are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical, psychological, or physical conditions, including current medications, that may affect your participation.

2.4 You agree to respect the rights, privacy, and wellbeing of other participants, our instructors and consultants, and any third-party providers throughout the retreat or course.

2.5 You acknowledge that your active engagement and openness will influence the benefits you receive from the experience.

3.Payment Policy

3.1 Retreats & Wellness Experiences

3.1.1 A 30% deposit of the total invoice is required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

3.1.2 The deposit will hold a reservation until 60 days prior to the start date, when the remaining balance is due, unless otherwise specified.

3.1.3 Full payment of the balance is required 60 days before the start date.

3.1.4 If the deposit is not paid within 5 days of the invoice date, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the position released.

3.1.5 For bookings made within 60 days of the start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

3.1.6 If the balance payment is not received by the due date, your booking will be considered cancelled by you, and the 30% deposit forfeited.

3.2 Online Courses

3.2.1 Full payment is required to access course materials.

3.2.2 Payments are non-refundable once access to the course has been granted.

3.2.3 Courses are for individual use only and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.

4.Cancellations & Refunds

4.1. Cancellations by you (retreats & wellness experiences only)

4.1.1 Up to and including 60 days before the service start date, deposit of 30% is forfeited.

4.1.2 Less than 60 days before the service start date, 100% of the total invoice is forfeited, including any pre-booked supplementary services (e.g., transfers, equipment rental, excursions).

4.1.3 Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 60 days. Transaction fees associated with refunds will be at your expense.

4.2. Cancellations by us
We may cancel a retreat, experience, or service at any time by written notice. In such cases, we will refund all amounts you have paid to date within 30 days. We shall have no further liability to you in respect of such cancellations.

4.3. Refund eligibility
You acknowledge that you are not entitled to, and will not claim, a refund except as set out in clauses 4.1 and 4.2. This is an essential term of this agreement.

5.Force Majeure

5.1 We are not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, border closures, illness, or travel delays.

5.2 We strongly recommend comprehensive travel and dive insurance to cover such events. 

6.Disclaimer

By engaging with our services, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this Disclaimer.

6.1. Educational and wellness purposes

Our services are designed to support wellbeing and personal growth. They are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment. If you have health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

6.2. Diving safety

Scuba diving and related activities carry inherent risks. All participants must:

• Follow instructor guidance at all times
• Meet relevant medical and certification requirements
• Accept responsibility for their own participation

6.3. Individual results

Outcomes from wellness practices, somatic sessions, or diving experiences vary. We do not guarantee specific results.

6.4. Third-party providers:

Some services are delivered in partnership with trusted providers (e.g., dive operators, resorts). We are not responsible for services outside our direct control.

7.Confidentiality

7.1 Confidentiality is a very important aspect of our relationship with you. Everything discussed in the course of your retreat, consultation, or wellness session is kept in the strictest confidence.

7.2 We respect your privacy and will not disclose your name or personal details except where disclosure is required by law or by your express written consent.

7.3 If you are currently, or have recently been, under any form of psychiatric care, psychological therapy, specialised medical supervision, or prescribed medication, we ask that you inform us in writing. This ensures we can provide safe, appropriate, and supportive services.

8.Testimonials & Media

8.1 By providing feedback, testimonials, or reviews (written, audio, or video), you grant us permission to use this material for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials.

8.2 We will not disclose your full name or identifying details without your consent. If you prefer your testimonial to remain anonymous, please advise us in writing at the time of submission.

9.Intellectual Property

9.1 We retain all rights, title, and interest in:

• Dive In™ and all related intellectual property
• All materials, processes, and content developed in connection with our retreats, courses, and services

9.2 Nothing in this agreement grants you rights to reproduce or use our intellectual property without written consent.

10.General

10.1 This agreement may not be varied except in writing signed by both parties.
10.2 If any provision of this agreement is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect.
10.3 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Any prior arrangements, agreements, or representations are superseded.
10.4 This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
