On Bali's quieter northern coast, the village of Sambirenteng gives us a very different base from the busier parts of the island. Here, the resort sits directly on the water, with a house reef accessible from shore and dive sites along the northeast coast within easy reach. 

Private transfers from Denpasar International Airport (DPS) are included and typically take three to four hours.

Our preferred time for North Bali experiences is May to October, outside the wetter months.

The Experience

The house reef allows us to dive directly from the resort, while boat dives and day trips open up a wider range of sites across North and East Bali. This gives us plenty of variety over several days, from relaxed dives close to the resort to exploring some of Bali’s best-known dive sites further afield.

Away from diving, there is plenty to do. Enjoy the pool or spa, join an Indonesian cooking class, explore nearby waterfalls, temples and villages, or simply have some time to yourself. 

North Bali is well suited to couples, families and groups with different interests, with plenty to do both independently and together. Non-diving participants are also invited to join the somatic practices and reflective sessions on land.
